BakBurner’s New Look & Big Plans for 2014

When we rang in the New Year a few days ago, our mental slates were wiped clean. We need moments such as midnight on January 1 for various reasons: to help those down on their luck feel like change is coming, serve as motivation for those who were successful that bigger and better things are on the horizon, and offer reflection as to what our mistakes and victories were.

To say I’m excited for 2014 is an understatement. I believe personally and professionally this will be a year where I’ll accomplish more than I ever have. I’ll start to shift my priorities where they matter most and eliminate distractions. Time is something you can never get back so I’ll continue to maximize it.

One of the first “victories” to get me there was the BakBurner.com relaunch in December. With my focus and full-time career having shifted exclusively towards mobile in recent years, it made sense to do the same for my own company.

BakBurner Digital will now center around mobile marketing and lead optimization. We’ll not only figure out how to get you the most users or downloads, but the ones that lead to maximized profitability. I’ll work hand-in-hand with your brand to instill the same techniques that helped make millions of dollars for Avis Budget Group. These marketing efforts have also helped make LetterSlider, Winery Passport and Brewery Passport so successful in the App Store.

Along with the website design and company, one of my goals for 2014 is to write a blog post once a week. Each post will feature tie-ins to the mobile industry, and hopefully serve as some value to your efforts. I’ll continue to do interviews, reviews and offer insight, all of which you received right here last year. I’m just need to be more regular about my writing schedule.

Professionally, I’ll be announcing a job change in a few days. It’s a move that I’m extremely excited about, not only because of the opportunity to work for an amazing company but the challenges ahead. I’m confident I’ll work hard enough to be successful though. I also know this opportunity will allow me to learn even more about the mobile industry and gain even more experience on what it takes to drive a business forward.
